Don’t lie to me or I’ll get angry. And you don’t want to see me when I’m angry.

So, Jason and I joined a gym today. Not a new thing for me. I use to work out a lot at a gym in Nova Scotia. I’m not what you call a “gym expert” but I’m no newbie either.

While I’m happy to get back to being uber fit, I really dislike crap. And I hate being lied too. WITH THE HEAT OF A THOUSAND SUNS.

We were told today we *had* to have a personal trainer give us a fitness test to join this particular gym. That it’s a liability issue. Yet, nowhere in the contract we signed does it state we have to take a fitness test.

I believe it’s just a sales opportunity to try and sell us a personal trainer, which is more money per month.

This bothers me. And not because I’m against taking a fitness test. I’m well within my BMI and I know I’m fit. That’s not the point. I just don’t like anybody pissing in my face and telling me it’s raining.

I have this *tick* about someone trying to pull the wool over my eyes. I want to stand on a chair and Norma Rae that shit at the top of my fit-and-healthy lungs.
