A good day
Today was a good day. Nay, a great day! Let me explain to you why in point form below. Please read on:
- My hair looks amazing.
- I wore my new faux snake-skin dress to work. It also looks amazing.
- My vacation requests for September (I’m going home to Newfoundland for my Gammy’s birthday in two weeks) and October (going to Nova Scotia to visit Jason’s family and attend a close friend’s wedding) were approved.
- I was on a crowded elevator squished up against Adrian Grenier for like… three floors. He stars in Entourage and smells like citrus. He’s in love with me, by the way.
- The Criterion Collection came out. Not only did I “executive produce” it — I still don’t know what that actually means other than it pays to sleep your way to the top — but I was also naked in a bathtub and I got to be a deadly ninja and I got to slit my husband’s throat. Neat!
- Two horsey cops escorted me to the subway. (Not because I broke law, but because they were going that way.) I love Canadian horsey cops! Clop-Clop!
- Knowing, in my gut, that moving back to Toronto was the best thing ever.
